About Me

Hi, I'm Logan Bradley, a high school student with a passion for computer science and programming. I've been coding since 2nd grade, starting with Scratch and progressing through Java, Python, and various specialized courses in AI, mobile and web development, and more. I attend Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST), a highly competitive school that has prepared me well for future academic challenges.

Projects

Here are some of the projects I've worked on:

• NovaNet Design: I created a fun website, novanetdesign.com, as a way to learn web design. It has gone through many iterations, from simply being a Wix site that I designed, to an AWS Lambda site, and is now a Github Pages site using Jekyll. Next, I plan to create an EC2 server and turn it into a dynamic website, likely using Express.js.
• RNN/Generative AI Model: To learn how machine learning works, I created a Recurrent Neural Network from scratch using Python and NumPy. It trained off Shakespeare's works and can generate its own Shakespeare-looking text.
• US Department of Veteran's Affairs Chatbot: I worked with my school's consulting club to scrape the US Department of Veteran's affairs website and use OpenAI embeddings to create a chatbot that veterans can ask questions to about anything on the website.
• 1/10th Scale Self-Driving Car: As a part of the Atlas Autoware club, I helped to build a 1/10th scale self-driving car, and we plan to enlist it in competitions early next school year. The car uses cameras and LIDAR to see its environment. Right now, its pretty good at avoiding obstacles and staying on course, although we are working to fine-tune the PID controller variables to avoid overcorrection or undercorrection.
